Health care reform or insurance reform?

A lot has been said about heath care reform lately. So I would like to ask the simple question. Is the best way to solve the nation's heath care problem as simple as making sure that everyone is covered by insurance?

- Because the only people running against the current leadership are those that are just as corrupt as those they would be replacing.

- Agreed. Unfortunately the two parties currently in power have made certain, through election reforms, that a third party can never win the Presidency. Independents tried, Libertarians tried.

- But my question involves the larger picture. Why bother fixing the insurance industry if the health care system itself is the larger problem. It doesn't matter if you have insurance or not if your primary care physician is substandard.

- I think that protectionism is bad for business as well. However, I also believe in fair trade. "fair" being the operative word. Our trade practices with other countries is sorely unbalanced and unfair to U.S. workers.

- If the government really wanted to, they could bring him, and his company officers, up on terrorism charges under the homeland security administration rules. He knowingly distributed contaminated food to a large number of people in various states. That sounds like bio terrorism to me.
